Mr. Elly Daniel Kimbwereza is a visionary pioneer in sustainable tourism, a community leader, and a global advocate for responsible tourism. Born on April 4th, 1952, he hails from the culturally rich Southern Pare Mountains of Tanzania. His father, Rev. Daniel Kimbwereza, a successor of German Christian missionary work in the Pare region, inspired his commitment to social development.


Educational Excellence and Academic Achievements

Kimbwereza’s academic path began in Mbaga village, Same District, Kilimanjaro Region. After attending secondary school in Moshi and Azania High School in Dar es Salaam, he graduated with Honors in Economics from the University of Dar es Salaam.
